Summary
In spring 2026, Deep Sea Media hired us to connect their CRM to an automatic calling agent. In August 2026 they published their own write-up of the purchase on their site, unsponsored, titled “Our CRM now makes its own calls.” This post is our side of that engagement, and it links to theirs so you can read both.
The Client Who Grades Vendors for a Living
Deep Sea Media is an AI and advertising agency, and a family in advertising since 1919. They run paid media in-house across more than a dozen platforms, and they sell AI workflow automation themselves. That last part matters: this is not a client who buys software on faith. Delivery is their own business, which makes them roughly the hardest kind of customer an agency can take on.
Their write-up says it plainly: “The roadmap from the discovery and strategy call was delivered as written. We know how rare that is, because delivery is our own business too.”
What They Asked For, and What Shipped
The ask was one sentence: connect the CRM to an automatic calling agent. The engagement ran the way every Benian build runs. A discovery and strategy call first, a roadmap out of that call, a fixed scope, then the build.
What the client reports shipping: the calling agent, wired into the CRM they already ran, with more integrations than they had asked for. The agent takes notes of its own calls, so the record keeps itself. And the voice was tuned until, in their words, it speaks the way their team speaks, not the way a robot reads.
The Review, Word for Word
Derin Gocek, the owner, left this five-star Google review in April 2026. We print it exactly as written, typos and all, the same way it appears with the rest of our case studies:
“Benian Technologies was a great investment. I wanted him to connect my crm to a automatic calling agent. He built so many more connections than I expected. Takes notes of the calls, and the agent speaks the way we would speak to customers. After our discovery and strategy call we established the roadmap and he delivered with flying colors!🚀💪👍”
Their Side of the Story
Months after the build, Deep Sea Media published their own account at deepseamedia.ca/stories/benian-calling-agent. It closes with the line that made us want to link it: “Nothing on this page is sponsored. We paid them for the work, and this page is what we think of it.”
That is the whole arrangement between our two companies: no money changed hands for any of these words, in either direction. They credit the build in their site footer, we print their review with our case studies, and both sides link the other because every claim is checkable on the other side of the link.
One measured footnote: after publishing their llms.txt, deepseamedia.ca scores 100/A on our free AI Visibility Scan, twelve of twelve checks passing, measured August 22, 2026.
If Your CRM Should Be Making Its Own Calls
A calling agent wired to the CRM you already run is a standard single-purpose build for us: scoped in a 30-minute discovery call, quoted as a fixed fee, shipped on your own accounts, with call notes writing themselves back. If that is the kind of thing your pipeline is missing, book a scoping call or start with the free audit.
